Adult Literacy and Numeracy (ALAN) Tests

ALAN tests are on-line assessments which support the work done in English and Mathematics and allow Harry Carlton students to attain an extra vocational qualification.  At level 1 each test is equivalent to a half GCSE at grade D and at level 2 a half GCSE at grade B.  The tests will be taken in school during May. The results add to GCSE success and count towards Key Stage 4 point scores.
