GCSE Statistics (AQA course 3311)
GCSE Statistics is an additional qualification to GCSE Mathematics that is offered to some students.

The assessment is 75% examination and there is one piece of coursework worth 25%.

Higher tier: written examination 2 hours 30 minutes (Grades A*-D)
Foundation tier: written examination 2 hours (Grades C-G).

FSMQ Additional Mathematics (OCR 6993)
Some of our more able mathematics students are following a Free Standing Mathematics Qualification course on Additional Mathematics.  This reinforces the grade A/A* mathematics at GCSE and gives an experience of GCE A/S and A level modules.  As an Advanced Level FSMQ it carries UCAS points.

The assessment is by a single 2 hour examination (Grades A-E).
There is no coursework.

Key Stage 4: Expectations and Equipment

Our expectations are simple; behaviour, effort and attitude should be excellent at all times.

Students should arrive punctually to lessons with the necessary equipment for learning mathematics (pen, pencil, ruler, protractor, pair of compasses and calculator).

It is the student's responsibility to ensure that all of these expectations are met.
